The purpose of the Site is to provide information about our Local Accommodation unit in Alijó: Villa D'Uvale Douro, hereinafter referred to as Villa D'Uvale, about our products and services, answer questions from customers and potential customers, and provide reservations and online promotions.

Failure by either party to exercise any right or remedy under these Terms and Conditions does not constitute a waiver of that right or remedy.

- Any change, on the Customer's initiative, of the characteristics and/or ownership of a reservation made within the scope of a promotional voucher, may imply the loss of the benefit/perk granted by the reservation.

- Promotional vouchers are only valid for bookings made through the Site;

- In case of cancellation or non-use of a reservation made within the scope of a promotional voucher, the value of the reservation will not be refunded to the customer, nor will its revalidation for a subsequent reservation be guaranteed;

- The use of fraudulent mechanisms to obtain promotional Vouchers makes the Customer responsible in general terms and gives Villa D'Uvale the right to choose between applying a rate without discount or terminating the Contract, without prejudice to Villa D' Uvale will be compensated for all damages suffered;

- Villa D'Uvale reserves the right to cancel and/or change promotional Vouchers at any time.

10. Competent Court and Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions are governed and interpreted in accordance with Portuguese legislation. Both parties agree, in the sole interest of Villa D'Uvale, to elect the Portuguese courts as the competent and exclusive forum, to judge and decide any lawsuits, actions or judicial measures that may arise or result from this contract; unless it has been agreed that in this clause of the election of the competent forum in the exclusive interest of Villa D'Uvale, Villa D'Uvale reserves the right to bring legal actions against the user in Courts of competent jurisdiction in any other country.

11. Online Occupancy / Reservations

 

If the Online Booking system provided on this website is used, the terms and conditions regarding availability, prices and cancellations apply to each room price indicated and the user must carefully read the details provided regarding the rate charged, before complete the booking process. Any special needs will have to be communicated at the time of booking, however, their attendance is not guaranteed.

In the event that, as a result of an online reservation, an overbooking situation occurs, Villa D'Uvale will immediately cancel the reservation made online and fully refund any amounts paid, and cannot be held responsible for this occurrence.

12. Cancellations and No-Show | Cancellation Policy

All reservations must be prepaid in advance.
We guarantee a full refund for cancellations made within 7 days of Check-in date for our flexible rate.
Any booking cancellation made less than 7 days before the scheduled arrival date is non-refundable.
In case of no-show (if the guest does not arrive on the check-in date), Villa D'Uvale reserves the right to debit 100% of the total amount of the stay.
In the case of early departures, the entire stay will be charged.

13. “Prices from”

The prices called "Prices From" in the accommodation listings are considered to be the lowest base price available, per night, for the respective unit until the end of the current calendar year, therefore, there is no guarantee of availability of this price. whenever a search is carried out in our reservation system (price varies depending on the search date). As these prices are already the lowest available, which may or may not include promotional campaigns, no additional discounts will apply.

14. Check-in / Check-out

Arrival time (check-in): from 15:00

 

Check-out time: until 11:00 am
On the day of departure, customers must leave the room no later than 11:00 am. Villa D'Uvale reserves the right to charge an extra night if the check-out time is not respected.

The departure time may occur later, subject to availability and prior request, the day before departure. There may be an extra charge associated with late departure, depending on the departure time.
